About Us

Crave Tech is a boutique software engineering consultancy that specialises in transitioning visionary concepts into tangible, effective, and innovative software solution. It's our MO to help startups and established organisations achieve their full potential.

Crave Tech was established in 2024 by Charles Vallance who, after 20+ years leading teams delivering complex, scalable applications across New Zealand and North America, decided it was time to share his expertise a little wider. Prior to forming Crave Tech, Charles was a pioneering member of the Sharesies team where he created the market trading platform for the NZX and ASX that enabled Sharesies to grow to a multi-million dollar company.

Pricing

Casual

Basic consulting and casual work is billed at NZ$220/hr plus additional expenses. This is suitable for small tasks, advice, or short-term engagements.

Ongoing

For on-going collaborations, Crave Tech bills at a rate of NZ$180/hr plus additional expenses. Discounts are available to clients who offer guaranteed minimum time commitments.

Clients have the option to regulate their spending through either full-project or monthly budgeting, as needed. Crave Tech offers fixed pricing for the majority of project engagements which can be tailored to suit the scope and requirements of the project.

Service level agreements

All services come with best-effort response times.

For clients who have a need for contracted maximum response times and windows, we offer different options for service level agreements that can be tailored to your specific needs.
